Guest Advocate – Hastings
We are currently hiring for a part time Guest Advocate at our Hastings location!
Help us fulfill a bigger purpose by serving others – come join our team!  This part time Hastings position is for weekends plus two weekdays.  Guest Advocate responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Securing donations
* Data entry
* Become proficient in our databases networking and check in/out guests as needed.
* Answer phone and send out detailed messages accordingly.
* Posses great communication skills and must be a team player.
* Be flexible with scheduling.  This position will work weekends with differential pay, plus two weekdays, 32 hours per week.
* Have a compassionate heart for the homeless and be able to follow all rules and policies.
* Be teachable and willing to learn all aspects of job.

Men’s Case Manager – Kearney

Our Kearney location is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Men’s case manager.  Make a difference in the lives of others – join our team!  The responsibilities, skills and qualifications include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the daily operations of our Men’s Residential Program, High Commitment Shelter, Emergency Shelter, Meal Ministry, as well as other outreach functions
  • Monitor the building and its residents.  Transport guests.
  • Walk alongside guests as a disciple of Christ and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them through actions and words.
  • Serve the guests in a Christ-like manner and practice a self-evaluative lifestyle.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships with diverse groups of guests and volunteers.
  • Must be able to handle crisis situations with calm and clear thinking.
  • Nebraska Driver’s License with clean driving record required.
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of drug and alcohol recovery and mental illness preferred.
  • Background in human services is a plus
